Exhibition rules

Rabbit Exhibition at Peetri Community Centre 28 – 30 November 2025

  1. The exhibition is organised and supervised by the Board of the Estonian Rabbit Breeders Association (hereinafter ERBA), which has the right to form an organising committee and/or assign exhibition-related tasks to members as needed.

  2. Rabbits will be judged according to the European judging system (maximum 100 points). Judging is carried out by age classes:

    • Adults

      • Large breeds from 8 months

      • Medium and small breeds from 6 months

      • Dwarf breeds from 4 months

    • Young rabbits (prognosis judging)

      • Large breeds 5–8 months

      • Medium and small breeds 4–6 months

      • Dwarf breeds 3–4 months

Registration Procedure

​

  1. Rabbits are entered with a participation request, which obliges the breeder to follow the rules of the exhibition and the instructions of ERBA’s Board and organising team.

  2. The participation request must be submitted no later than 15 November 2025 to: kuulikukasvatajateselts@gmail.com

  3. Only pre-registered rabbits may participate. Rabbits may be substituted (for another breed or colour) up to 3 days before the exhibition by notifying the registration address.

  4. No substitutions will be accepted later than this.

  5. Based on the number of rabbits stated in the participation request and the fees listed in the price list, an invoice will be issued. The participation fee must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice.

Participation Rules

​

  1. Only purebred rabbits with a pedigree are eligible to participate.

  2. Each breeder may bring as many pre-registered rabbits as they wish.

  3. All rabbits must be healthy. Any rabbit showing signs of illness will be removed.

  4. Rabbits must have a valid vaccination against myxomatosis.

  5. Rabbits must be housed individually in exhibition cages. No distinctive markings or decorations are allowed on cages, except for the cage number and the breed name with description.

  6. Both ears of each rabbit must be tattooed for identification.

  7. Judging cards, prepared in advance according to the participation request, will be attached to the cage after judging.

  8. In the event of equal points, the chief judge decides the title holder.

  9. Questions regarding judging will be answered by the chief judge after the judging is complete.

  10. Appeals must be submitted within one hour after the judging protocol is confirmed, to a member of the organising team who forwards it to the judge. Appeals will be processed only after payment of the appeal fee listed in the price list. Appeals may concern any rabbit.

  11. Any issues arising during the exhibition will be resolved by the organising team.

  12. The organising team is not responsible for injuries caused by the rabbits themselves or by visitors.

  13. Rabbits may be placed in cages on 27 November between 18:00–21:00 and on 28 November between 7:00–8:00.

  14. Rabbits must be in cages no later than 28 November at 8:00. Late arrivals will not be admitted (except by prior agreement).

  15. Rabbits may be removed on 30 November between 14:00–15:00.

  16. The rules may be amended by the ERBA Board.

Titles Awarded

​

  1. BIS – Best In Show

    • Awarded to the rabbit with the highest score at the exhibition.

    • In case of equal scores, the chief judge decides.

  2. BOB – Best of Breed

    • Awarded to the best rabbit of each breed (regardless of sex).

    • Rabbit must score at least 95 points.

    • In case of equal scores, the chief judge decides.

  3. BC – Best Collection

    • The breeder must exhibit at least four (4) rabbits of the same breed and colour, of both sexes.

    • One purchased rabbit may be included.

    • The total of the four highest-scoring rabbits is calculated.

    • The total score must be at least 374 points.

    • Calculations are made separately for each breed and colour.

    • In case of equal scores, the chief judge decides.

  4. BF – Best Farm

    • The breeder must exhibit at least eight (8) rabbits.

    • The total score of the best eight rabbits from one farm is calculated (they need not be of the same breed).

    • Purchased rabbits are not included.

    • In case of equal scores, the chief judge decides.

  5. BICJ – Best In Class Junior

    • Awarded to the best rabbit in the junior class (regardless of breed or sex).

    • In case of equal scores, the chief judge decides.

  6. PF – People’s Favorite

    • Visitors may vote for their favourite by writing the cage number on a ballot slip.

    • Voting ends one hour before the prize-giving ceremony.

Price List

  • Participation fees

  • €20 – registration fee

  • €2 – per rabbit

  • €80 – per person (includes coffee & snack table, up to 3 nights’ accommodation at Hindreku Farm, and festive dinner on Friday evening)
